Okay, I bought this already modified. Apparently in a normal camera, there is a filter to remove infrared or near-infrared. The modification removes the filter. Thus, allowing you to photograph near-infrared. Frankly, I'm not really impressed. But, maybe I don't really know what I'm looking at.
This is a MODIFIED camera. Please do research and know what you are buying. I put $100 but will likely take offers. I am moving and found this in my closet from years ago. I'm just looking to get some of my money back. There are videos on modifying an existing camera on YouTube, if you want to appreciate what was done to this camera, you can watch the videos.
