Tan Djarka Sr Member Nov 30, 2016 #3 Looks like it, but I'm going to say "no". It's just the clamp visible through the flat end of the strip that looks like a bubble.

thd9791 Master Member RPF PREMIUM MEMBER Nov 30, 2016 #8 I think the thing up top is the clamp through the lens as well as the bottom, in this position.
SethS Master Member RPF PREMIUM MEMBER Nov 30, 2016 #9 Blown up it looks less like a bubble. It's light catching the top edge of the plastic.

russellsch Master Member Nov 30, 2016 #13 Hey! Is it me, or does it look like there are 8 bubbles in this one too?!
newmagrathea Sr Member Nov 30, 2016 #14 I'm only counting 7 in both photos, but I can see how it looks like 8. I think the phantom 8th is just a glare.

I think that might be the "Gary Kurtz" Graflex prop! If it is, that could be an 8 bubble display because the bubble strip was missing from the Kurtz saber. - Jim

thd9791 Master Member RPF PREMIUM MEMBER Nov 30, 2016 #17 That;s an illusion too guys. The ANH tab is raised to wrap around the D ring itself, and we're seeing the D ring beyond it. The Kurtz saber has fabricated T track too, and the Kobold was used to replace the tab, while using the same hole.

THX1138 Sr Member Nov 30, 2016 #19 The lever and the top section in the picture of Luke looking into the emitter are oriented opposite to the two production still sabers. Still looks like a Kobold bracket in the large picture of Luke looking into the emitter, too. - Jim - - - Updated - - - teecrooz said: This isn't the saber to face picture, but the other one Chaim posted.
