Green Hornet 1960’s overcoat color

I know it’s a stretch, but if anyone would know, the RPF would.
The 60’s Green Hornet lead Britt Reid wore an overcoat with a velvet collar. Problem is, in certain pics the coat is most certainly black. In others, it is green. Does anyone know, which came first and approximately when in the show the switch was made?
ANY info would be greatly appreciated!

It's suppose to be green, and in the photos the collar looks black. They might not have used a black coat, the color shift could come from color correcting the scenes. Like how Kirk's shirt is green in some scenes, but turns gold with color correcting.
