First Order Stormtrooper Lens

So I'm looking for recommendations on material and vendor for a smoke color plastic to create a bubble lens for my First Order Stormtrooper helmet. Any recommendations (material, thickness, vendor)? PM me if you don't want to "advertise" any particular vendor. Really could use some insight here. Thanks

Obviously this is just theory atm, but I'm thinking that after my helmet is done, I'll cast a mold, then use a dremel to separate the pepekura lens section(s). This'll give me a solid base to heat-gun some thin acrylic onto, followed by a quick tinting job. Hopefully works out!

I've still got a way to go before i'm at the lenses stage, but it did cross my mind the other day, are the original ANH bubble lenses similair in size ?...
