Hey guys, I'm looking for some help/guidance on how to make a headpiece for my Saber Guild character. Rather than take the easy route, I decided I wanted to be an alien. After researching in depth, I wanted to be an Iktotchi. The problem is, I'm in the dark about how to create the headpiece. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Iktotchi is a quick summary and some pictures. They have no hair, a mix of ram/bull horns, and a larger head.
I started to do some expanding foam with the hope that I could carve it down and cover it up a bt but right now, it just looks like a bulky helmet and I'm getting a bit disheartened. Should I just attempt to do the liquid latex route? I've never done that either. I've done tons of armor and clothes but never something like this.
