Looking at screen caps on Capthat it looks like the red may be a water slide decal because of the silvering / light "glow" on the edges especially on the clear part and the white and possibly silver bottom look to be vinyl decal sheet.

Getting ready to start this, any suggestions/recommendations on removing the labeling?

Should be able to peel off any labels, including the one around the neck, and I used a little steel wall under running water, and it gets off about 95% of the text with a little still on the glass but that doesn’t seem to be removable.

I did the same thing.

Something that label collectors do is fill it with hot water to loosen the glue.
