Great tiny diorama man... I've been toying with the idea of doing a book nook... But couldn't really find a topic I liked. Now I'm thinking, one of the many classic scenes from close encounters.

The mothership model is currently at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Dulles Airport. The whole museum is great. The mothership can't be lit anymore, sadly, but it was still great to see it in person.

It looks so much bigger in the first pictures! And then so tiny in your hand.
Shouldn't the tower be sculpted from mashed potatoes?
