Hi Everyone

Thought i'd share my 1st weapon build that i'm doing for a friend

I contracted Armory Shop to do the 3D Model - i did find a few paper models but i wanted this to stand out.

And this is where i'm at. it only just holding together - still need to glue it

I will be adding leather and a timber stake to make it more realistic

Small update.
Ive decided to try XTC-3D on this to see if it actually works. great for large non detail areas.
Im doing a Black undercoat then do all the reds and silvers. For the silver i'm planning on using rub n buff silver leaf
Got the Leather for the handle and hardwood for the stake

Sorry i went dark on the thread - well i finished it. had a few bumps along the way.
I used a chrome paint which was painful to give it a polished metal look.
Real leather handle
Wooden stake - stained

Over all im very happy how it turn out.

It has now been shipped to its new owner

If i remember right it cost me about $150usd for the model. Sorry i didnt reply sooner for some reason i don't get notified email from RPF
