With my Boushh costume ready, I decided to start working on the weapons. The thermaldetonator was an old resin cast I bought several years ago. It's not that accurate but it will do for trooping...
The electrostaff turns out to be a little more tricky since it lacks reference material. On the other hand that allows for more individualism and creativity
I started searching for a rough idea of the lower section of the staff and found the design tooldguy301 over at the dented helmet came up with:

However, instead of getting a 3D-printed kit I started working on a slightly modified version using a sturdy cardboard roll and filler:
