Has anyone ever looked into or tried using an airsoft bolt-action rifle for a PKD?
£75 is a lot of cash for something that's going to be unsuitable, although cheaper than the real deal and available to we Brits. I might start stashing some funds away for a 2018 project if it's feasable. There are a couple of airsoft revolvers on the market that could be viable, too.

A few people have started, but never finished thier builds using airsoft receivers, and airsoft revolvers.

The rifle receivers are round, and require a good bit of cutting/machining to make them work. And you're going to have to scratch build everything else unless you have a donor kit or something like that.

But if you're willing to put in the hours, no reason you can't make it happen.

Right...besides being less expensive, no one has built that gun with airsoft anyway.

Mulling it over, the best that can be hoped for is a something that looks like the cousin of the original, a bit more distant than Darthwolf7's fine example:

It's definitely looking possible, though not easy. One for the back-burner, too much on the go just now.

Looking at the rifle you posted it might make for a neat looking long barrel PKD.
