Battlestar Galactica 2003 scratch build

She’s looking brilliant Ross !..., and as far as ‘blending’ it all together, maybe a little (light) misting coat of the original base colour you used ?
It’s been an amazing ‘journey’ for this build mate (still a little to go), but it’s also been very, very informative & enjoyable !:D
Hey there Ged!
Thanks so much for the extremely kind words. I think you’re right, a very light mist might be just the thing. It’s been an enjoyable learning experience. I think though whatever I do next will be a kit, maybe two before I tackle the Pegasus which will be close to 3’ long.

Dude...

That looks amazing. Wow

Super paint job. I know you where dreading it somewhat. You defenately nailed it. Some blending sounds like a good idea, tho I have to say I'm amazed at that paint job.

Great to see you're still working on this thing.

Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for the encouragement, it’s been a monumental effort but certainly a confidence builder. I was terrified of painting it but it seems like it turned out ok. Perhaps a little darker than I would have liked but it’ll work

I do have to say it, what I’ve done with this is nothing compared to the absolute brilliant work that our friend Invar did with his Star Destroyer, there is true genius

Took a break from the cool Mustang!

At least it was worth it

Love the paint color and look of the different panel shades

Perfect colors

Well thank you very much for those extremely kind words. It would be much better if I would learn how to use that printer I have lol
Next time... When you're building the Pegasus. You could practically print every single panel with the greebles on.

Then again... Hand-built stuff has a different feel to it.

Either way, I have the utmost respect for you and this crazy project.

At least you're making progress.

Lol, thanks buddy, I appreciate it. It has certainly been a monumental task but very satisfying. If I can’t get in the garage with the car cause it’s just too cold, I’ll certainly have plenty to do in the basement…where it’s warm

Not sure if I posted these together before but here they be

Not much left, two more engine nozzles and some sort of diffuser for them, finish up the wiring and stuff it and finish the spine skin and then figure out what kind of a stand I’m going to do
