batman sculpt - Arkham Origins WIP

Coming down to the home stretch, still looking great!
I'm molding my TDK cowl right now, and ended up going with the standard Vytaflex 40 from smooth-on. I've done some test casting with it, and am pleased with the results. It's got a very nice consistency, easy to work with, and stretches quite a bit, while remaining tough (in about a 1/4" piece, which is how thick I'm going to make my cowl). I'm still going to try Vytaflex 60 as well, hoping that might be a bit harder and more like a helmet, but the 40 should be quite comfortable to wear.
Cheers buddy ! Ahhh that's some really useful info dude !! i might give that a go then ! i too am planning on making it quite thick to make it feel and look more heavy duty, If you try the 60 let us know how the results fair ! Started working on the chest today and made good progress, cant get enough of sculpting !
Your build looks sick btw. i cant wait to see a suited up pic !

Been abit busy recently but I've cast the chest and cowl in plaster and ive done a little tester today with some latex, its a little off because i think the mold shifted while it was setting as i wasnt very patient. Although i am quite pleased, looking forward to making it out of something thicker and stronger!

I really don't understand this sculpting/casting/latex process. Can you give me a link to the tutorial/s you used to learn it. I really wanna try it, but my family is low class so I don't have the money to be making severe mistakes and all, I wanna be secure before getting into it
