Pastels and a bit of graphite for areas simulating scratches showing raw metal. Im following loosely what I saw in the screen and references from a few books.

Looking fantastic. I picked up one at Wonderfest this past weekend. Amazing kit from Bandai as usual. I'm planning on replacing the red cockpit window with a piece of lighting gel. You can get sample packs on eBay for cheap with multiple colors.

Finished weathering the second leg. Only 10 more legs to go! Here is a detail of the graphite used to accentuate the bolts. Detail is so crisp that the final result looks like the real thing, except for the scale of course.
