ANH-Star Destroyer

Using the anycubic tough resin which has a little flex to it so it’s not brittle like the regular resin. The great part is that the Tamiya liquid cement glue works with this just like styrene so it’s easy to glue on. Not a fan super glue since it can make thin and small parts really brittle.

The engines turned out really nice.
What printer are you using? I looked through the thread but did not see. Thanx.

Anycubic MonoX (4K) first printer I have used so can’t really compare it. Seems easy enough as far as resin printing goes, which is to say it’s not really easy but I’m getting the hang of it, I seem to have found the right settings for the resin I’m using, that’s the main thing that took some dialing in.

It’s my first as well— so far it’s been okay. The quality is pretty good it seems once you get all the settings dialed in, when I’m back at my pc I’ll post some stuff back here.

Here is how these parts are oriented and supported, along with the printer settings Im using if anyone is interested.
-Anycubic 4k Photon Mono X (looks like its under 200$ bucks now, wow crazy for a resin printer with a large build volume like this)
-Anycubic Tough and Flexible Resin (Grey) these settings are for this resin, looks like they would be different even for different colors of this resin. It took some tries to dial it in.

I wish I knew anything about this. I want a printer but the settings and software are scary.

Had this on pause until I figured out the lighting, digging this look though and the socket and bulb fit perfectly. Went with incandescent style LED mini bulbs. They have a good diffuser which was the key so that you only get one flair per light instead of a flare for every LED in each bulb which is like 12
