Not even sure what I'm aiming for here, other than a long-range starfighter of some kind.

Stay tuned...

Update: final on this one (calling it done)-

The fighter is a Plymouth-class (S/A-31) long-range fighter. Hence the heavy armament.

The base up-close:

In case it's not clear what the symbol is supposed to be, here's the ink drawing I did as the basis for the final design:

Thanks for watching; see everyone next project!

How do you have so many spare F-16s?
A friend sent a couple of old partial kits a while back to help me out. In it, I found a couple of fuselages and decided to try to do something original.

On that note:
each wing is a half of an F-16 fuselage combined with a half of an F-4 fuselage.

Just my wife.
Better that than what happened with me and my GF. A few years back we were at her parents, and stayed the night in her old bedroom. She had given me my Christmas present that night, a Soul of chogokin Godsigma combiner robot, and she found a few Transformers tucked away in her old closet. Her mother walks in to tell us there were some cans of pop in the fridge to find us playing war against each other with our robots! I was 45, she was 35. Her mom just looks at us as if we were insane, quickly tells us about the pop and removed herself quickly. :D
