3D Printing

A few months back there was a board member offering his services
to create the 3D files needed for printing. I am trying to find this member
for a project I gave in mind...so, if your reading this, shoot me a PM!

Thanks!

Head over to the Shapeways Forum's. They have a bunch of engineers there who make some spare money on the side doing requests.

Importantly - make sure whoever models it is aware that the model will be used for 3D Printing. In other words - things need to have volume, not just a mash of nurb surfaces. Also work out what 3D Printing technology you're going to use, each have different pro's/con's, and designing the part "for the process" will have a dramatic effect on the results.
