Form molded leather, silicone print hexagon patterns and form molded 'Disk' on back of jackets. White piping is an incredibly light sensitive 'reflective' - custom treated leather finish.

Just remember, the body armor is removable.
It all fits into inner pockets that have a Velcro closure making the CE Body Armor easily removed from the garments.
Don't have a bike per say? No worries...use it as your everyday jacket (or suit) and when you DO get your bike you'll be all set to go.
Plenty of 'motorcycle jackets' are used daily by people the world over even though they may not ride or even have a bike.
So in other words, you can STILL go to work in style....and represent!

Not to mention the exhausting effort to make these suits 'Movie Replicas' by nature of visual effect... and eye candy. :cool

Here's a close up of the Hexagon 3D Raised Silicone Print.

The Hexagon Shapes are chemically bonded to the underlying heavy duty 'motorcycle grade' 4 way stretch spandex, and have a very dull surface finish. Even so, you can see slight light glares on the side walls of the hexagon shapes.
Thickness, height, size and shape are all 100% accurate to the screen used movie suits....and they wont fade, peel or fall off.

This is the thread that made me join RPF. Absolutely stunning work... As a motorcycle enthusiast, I'm putting away money for the day you are taking pre-orders.

I've seen UD Replica's other suits but was a little saddened that there wasn't really anything for female riders... I'm thrilled to see this is not the case with the TRON suits!

My only question is...what is the shortest size the suits will come in? I'm pretty dang short at 5'2" but I dream of owning and riding in this awesome work of art!

Now that the suits are online, you can have a look at the size chart and see how it all works. Remember, the pants are easily shortened if you need that done on your end. :)

Never been so damn tempted in my life... I had to stop myself from pre-ordering right then and there. Sincere thanks from a shorty for making small sizes, btw. :)

Forgive the newbie question. I know the flap is part of the costume design, but having a hard time making out the details of how the jacket is constructed. Is the following removable from Quorra's jacket?

I personally love the short cropping of Flynn's jacket better and I don't know how comfortable the longer female jacket is in riding position...or how annoying the flapping is on the highway. Thanks for any details... Itching to get on this run...

Just a quick heads up regarding individual garments for the Tron Legacy product line...
The website will have the option to purchase ONLY jackets, pants, boots and gloves shortly...hopefully in a few short days MAX!
Currently only the full suits, be it either Sam Flynn or Quorra are available but we will add the single garment options as well.

Also as I understand it some RPF'ers have already begun to place their orders as well, so a big thanks to you all!

Remember that sizing is the most important factor in your purchase, so once you have your measurements taken, just give Dave a call at 905-223-5818 and he'll be happy to help you with your purchase.

Keep in mind that orders placed by Sept 30th will have early Dec delivery...just in time for the premier of the film! Otherwise delivery is First Quarter 2011.

Hi and great questions!
Yes, the skirt is removable. It's part of the 'Movie Replica' nature of the design but for riding it is removable.
Also the female jacket is constructed with breast shapes which make the jacket 'fit' less flat on the female form as it's built to consider the general nature of how females are made. :)
It's subtle, but enough to not flatten out the breasts...and makes the jacket extra easy and comfortable to wear. It's particularly noticeable in the image you posted above. :thumbsup

Yes the leather is the same. 1.1 mil thickness for all garments in the Tron Legacy line, male or female. :)
The difference is that the male pants have a lot of form molded details so they're made with an entirely different principle. This due to the way the actual movie suit was designed and for us to maintain a screen accurate look.
The female pants are not form molded, but the jacket sure is!!!! This means the pants are straight up leather, with heavy duty 4 way stretch spandex on the inseams. Great for getting them on snug and staying comfy! Of course, one of the pant legs has the white pin-striping just like the Quorra pants do on film.

The CE Approved body armor is also in the female suit, including the pants...and all body armor is removable.
