Thought I would make a separate thread for a Daedric War Axe prop I made for my full Daedric armor costume.
I started with the following reference image from the game:
I carved the axe head from multiple layers of 1/2 inch EVA foam. The handle and pommel I made from 8mm foam, using modified pepakura files which I scaled to match the axe head. I then added details with hot glue and 3mm foam. Painted and weathered using acrylic paint (glass bead gel for texture) and finally covered with acrylic varnish.
