i wanna show you my RotS Darth Vader, which i am working on since 2010.

I'm nowere near an expert on the differend Vader's, but wow. Thats a nice looking Vader.

Just wondering, are there any things you already want to change to your Vader now your done? Or is this costume just as you imagend it?

Since 2010 i changed nearly the complete parts of my Vader.
Look this picture was taken 2011:

I think i'm ready now...for the first!

That's an awesome looking Vader. Did you start with the Rubies as a base?, or you just bought every piece separate?

No No.

I had never a Rubies as base. I bought a couple of pieces from different propmaker. Few first things were made by me.

The second set of beltboxes and leatherbelt was made by me. Replaced them in 2013 with the Dark-Side beltboxes and the Turrican belt.
I reworked the shape of the chestarmor, before my painter did his job.

First, let me say, that you nailed it!

Maybe the best ROTS 1:1 Vader replica EVER!

Second, I must say that I am not a huge fan of the PT Vader...

But I didn't like the ROTJ Vader or troopers either till I owned replicas of ANH and ESB for a few years...

(5 trooper helmets of various makers, and Vader eFX legend ANH, and DS 20thcentury ESB.)

Now I really want an ROTJ Vader and trooper bucket...

I know that eventually I'll end up with an ROTS helmet as well one day!!

Is the ROTS version your favorite?

very nice build! i love the leather work, the gloves look amazing!

i also just recently learned that R2's "coin slots" are used on vaders chest box, pretty cool!
