"Obscure" Star Wars costume

Today, while playing Jedi Outcast (aaaahh, the nostalgia) during the Bespin levels, I came across the so-called "Bespin Security Guards". You know, the guys in the deep blue uniforms.
This got me thinking: "I wonder if anybody has yet bothered to come up with a costume for them" and I browsed a bit on the net.
To my surprise, I couldn't find any site showing someone who's attempted to recreate that particular outfit.

So my question: Anyone of you guys tried that yet?

That would be a unique one. I've always wondered if anyone's done the Biggs from ANH, with the cape. It's a cool costume.

On a side note, i always thought that it is funny the way how hands of the security guards are placed on the carbnonite block...
They look like waiters from Chili's posing for a photo shoot lol

For Celebration II I made a Cloud Car Pilot helmet and costume. It was my first scuplt and bumpy as heck. I plan on doing another eventually. I figure that's even more obscure than the Bespin Guard! I had my photo on StarWars.com with the caption, "This fan dressed up as the action figure no one wanted".

Hahaha, well, I guess bad publicity is still publicity. At least you were featured on starwars.com! And here on the RPF, nothing is considered too obscure or unwanted, as long as it comes from a movie, I guess...

Great costume, btw!

I dident want you either and neither did my kids :lol:lol

Sorry, great costume, very cool, but yah, I bet you will be in a class of costume all by yourself. :) Funny after you post that picture there might be a wave of people buying that figure to get you to autograph it at some convention. :thumbsup

Again nice work.

LOL!!

speaking of obscure..I dressed a couple of friends as Wuher and the Mos Eisley "extra" once.. will have to find pix..

Hard to tell, but the helmet was terribly bumpy...and a bit too shallow. I had foam glued in but it would barely stay on my head. The suit itself was pretty half-arse. Just white coveralls with the organe parts hot glued on. a last minute convention rush, since I spent months on the helmet. I plan to make a nice, updated helmet eventually.

Hey Scott, I remember seeing you at C2. I shoved through some people to get a picture of you, I've always liked the Clod Car pilot a lot, in spite of it being so painfully lame to 99% of Star Wars fans. :lol

I went to look through my photos & only found this one of the guys..Mos Eisley Extra & bartender.. We threw a big "cantina" party at a convention and I don't have that many pics from the night, as we were quite busy! :) We had the whole bar set-up, incl. a chess table, full size R2, dead aliens..tonnika sisters..:)
I'd love to reprise it all for DragonCon...
