Luna's Ultimate Spider-Man Build, Orhadar Print. [Pic Heavy]

Thinking of tackling some plastic frames from tjack and a universal faceshell.
What I plan on doing is following what some members did, they dipped the frames in boiling water for about 10 seconds. I guess I'll lay the frame on a spatula and dip that into the water and hold it there for about 12 seconds. I'll remove it and my question is the plastic hot? Or will I be able to just grab them?
Assuming I grab them do I just then put them on my desired spot on the face shell and hold it there? Till they cool down and shape?

Yea, you bend them onto the proper space on the faceshell and hold them there till they cool down. Keep an eye on the resin, once it's hot enough to become pliable they are good to go, but they can quickly become too hot to touch if you keep heating them. Whatever method you use to heat the resin, check frequently in between heating. I would recommend wearing heat-resistant gloves as well, though I did not.

Thanks Luna, Tjack just told me the same thing. To be safe I can wear some gloves. May I ask why you laid the paper template/cut out underneath the frames? Was that to protect the faceshell?

Haha, no, it was so I knew where to place them. The curve is different on different areas of the faceshell, so you want to try to match where you're curving to where the eyes will eventually be worn.

Hey Lunaman,

This thread is for your Ultimate Spidey costume, I've seen pics of you in an ASM 2 suit somewhere (am I right?)

Do you have a thread on that?
