Amazing Spider-Man 2 Build - jarradlm

Hi all

I'm Jarrad & fairly new to the RPF, I joined to interact with other Marvel fans & see what everyone else is making etc.

Over the next few months I am going to be making my own TASM 2 suit using a variety of resources made by users here on the RPF. I am using an Orhadar print with a slightly darker red to the pattern, TJack's V2 lenses and face shell, Crazydog500's web shooters, tulip puffy paint for the web lines and the web lines only (with the exception of outlining the back spider with red puff paint). I will also find some sort of shoes/soles to attach to the suit as many people do. I have not looked into buying any specific brand/type of shoe as yet. There will be other things like creating a 3D chest spider using a thin sheet of foam, elastic wristbands to go under the suit with magnets to connect the web shooters to over the top of the suit.

Update - Here is the print I have recently bought (as mentioned above) The print itself & my faceshell/lens kit are on their way and will arrive within roughly 4-6 weeks, another update will be posted then.

Sweet! I'm digging the darker red. Are you going to try painting the blue area?

Haha thanks, so am I! Nah, I won't paint the blue as the brick pattern is not very visible in some areas and I don't have the patience & skill for it- it'd drive me insane. But in saying so, the pattern is still paintable if you were to keep repeating the pattern. You never know, I might consider doing it.

I hear you on that one lol, but in the end its turns out pretty sweet. Also you said that you bought web shooter from crazydog. How much was his web shooters?

Would appreciate it if you left positive feed back here :) To be honest Crazydog's are more accurate & they already come painted which is a plus. But in the end in all comes down to personal preference.

Sorry for not being positive, but whenever I post, that riot javelin guy always has something to say about my post, I'll admit it this time he is sorta right but the other times he annoys me and I've asked if he can stop and it still happens

Thought I'd give everyone a small update. Still waiting on the suit print, it's very close to arriving.

As for the face shell & lenses, I assume they are close to arriving too as their are from the same country as the print (Canada) I have majority of supplies needed to start working on the suit. All I need are the shoes for the suit which I have not decided on nor looked at yet, as well as a foam sheet to make a front chest spider. Here's a picture of everything I have at the moment and everything I've ordered. I have the elastic and magnets to make the wrist bands for the web shooters but just haven't gotten around to putting them together yet.
