Kaydenmacg's JUDGE DREDD HELMET CONTEST ENTRY

This is a helmet for a fictional bounty hunter in the Dredd universe. All of the contest entries I have seen so far are Judge helmets. I wanted to do something a little different so I created a helmet for an imagined character from the Dredd universe. I figured since there is a severe lack of Judges that there would be an abundance of bounty hunters. My inspiration for this build was another (quite popular) bounty hunter. I hope you all enjoy.

Love leather Boba! :D

Do you have any "in progress" shots and a description of how you made the helmet? Those are required to be a valid entry. :)

THERE ARE TWO STEPS TO PLACE A QUALIFYING ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST:

FIRST, CREATE A NEW THREAD, IN THE JUDGE DREDD COSTUME GROUP FORUM WITH THE TITLE “[YOUR BOARD NAME]’s JUDGE DREDD HELMET CONTEST ENTRY.”

IN THE FIRST POST OF YOUR THREAD, TELL US ABOUT YOUR HELMET, A BRIEF BACKSTORY FOR IT, AND DETAILS ON HOW YOU CREATED IT (SHARE MATERIALS, TIPS, AND TECHNIQUES ON YOUR BUILD PROCESS).

BEFORE THE END OF THE CONTEST, YOU MUST ALSO POST AT LEAST TWO “IN PROGRESS” PHOTOS IN YOUR THREAD.

Good luck!

I did not see the in-progress requirements. I took a couple pics at the very beginning of the build, but that is about it. Here are those 2 pics and a pic of the finished helmet next to the pattern pieces I used. I actually changed the face plate piece after I took these as well (I messed up the first cut). The corners at the temples I extended to a point and I added another vent ridge on the nose.
Hopefully this is enough. If not, oh well. Live and learn. Thanks for the heads up guys!!!!

Also if it helps, here is a pic of what's left of the helmet visor that I cut up to make the visor for my helmet. I used a band-saw to cut out the shape and then used a heat gun to bend the visor so that it has the crease in the middle. I drilled some holes in it and used the spikes to bolt it to the helmet. I can go into very great detail as to how I constructed it. Feel free to ask me any questions.
