Here's some comparison pics - the legs don't look too bad, but I think the head is a little large. I've thinned out the cheeks in the meantime, but I'll see what I can do.
There was something bugging me about the head. It still felt a little large on the sculpt so I grabbed a chunk of clay and began messing around with it. Funny though, the first one took me weeks and this second one (unfinished) took 2 nights. This second one has slightly smaller features, and is more conical in shape - more like a great white. It suits the sculpt much better and I'm pleased I went through with it.
The body is basically complete, I have one leg to detail and the arms need some more work. So, this is a quick update and then back to it.
I'm sure your more than capable It does look like quite a nice relatively easy mould to make though! I expect the mould making stage of your build will be just as rewarding as the sculpting
Well, I have to admit, I'm getting thoroughly sick of doing this thing. It eats up hours like, like, a... a rancor. But getting very close to moulding it now. The body and legs are nearly there detail-wise, still got the arms to finish, and I'm quite happy with the head now. I might take a break from this as I feel I am hurrying (yeah right, 6 months messing around on it nearly) ha ha.
