I was going to add Quiggly Down Under and Maverick as two great ones that are on the lighter side, but they both just got added, so I'll give them a big "Second"
I seem to remember one with Will Smith and a giant mechanical spider...
Westerns are cool.I seem to remember one with Will Smith and a giant mechanical spider...
No.Does Deperado fit into this genre?
I was wondering which great Western movies I've missed.. I've seen some of the 90's-2000's flicks, but not all I suppose..
I liked: the far country Jimmy Stewart ..
Young Guns 1+2
Wyatt Earp
The Assassination of Jesse James...
3:10 to Yuma
The Quick and the Dead
Ned Kelly (not a Wild West one but cool, too)
Dead Men
Dances with Wolves
I also know Tombstone, but I have to re-watch it again sometime. So which classics should I definately watch, too??
Those are my favorites aside from Eastwood's Man with No Name trilogy. Two of my faves are support your local gunfighter and support your local sheriff starring James Garner another one i loved was my name is nobody with Terrance Hill and Henry Fonda.
One of the most blatant clones- they kept the original cast characters with name changes and just put the huts on wagon wheels.Anybody ever heard of Dusty's Trail? I never had, but I have this tv channel that shows some pretty obscure stuff, like, early Sunday mornings. It is literally a mix of Rawhide and Gilligan's Island. In fact it even stars Bob denver. A never ending cattle drive with Gilligan's Island style (yet not as good) slapstick.
If you've never heard of it, don't go looking for it--it's absolutely horrible....
