Steampunk is cool.
Giant mecha are cool.
Will Smith is cool.

... but steampunk western with Will Smith and a giant mecha spider is not cool.

Any film with big hats, guns and Mexicans isn't automatically a western.

One of the most blatant clones- they kept the original cast characters with name changes and just put the huts on wagon wheels.

('Oops!' was another but used nuclear war to isolate the castaways in a desert setting)

Take it from someone who's gotten really worn out on Western films. (Thanks to my father watching Gunsmoke all the time, love ya dad!) Magnificent Seven is a great film!
