Stony Props

I've seen this started a few times on this site. It's time to get a set of these out there.

I'm a relatively new builder but im doing my best to catch on quick, I just wish I would have started building 20 years ago.
Not many people have even seen anything that I posted here in the passed I don't expect that to change but I'll post it up here anyways just for the hell of it.

1st Edoardo Tavilla Thanks for starting one of these and releasing the torso model. I'm starting off with that section while I'm having the other pieces modeled.
I was able to use your file and to just change the scaling for my son & my scale (one larger one smaller). I would highly recommend this model for anyone starting this build.

I'm am 3d printing out many of the pieces and then beginning the process of combining the smaller pieces & sculpting over & in the details.

The first chest piece is for my sons costume. After all, Striker Eureka is a father son team.
Mine will follow once his is completed shortly behind his. I have to move quickly on these I need them ready fast.

The spine pieces, in my opinion are best made once and then molded. I'll need 20 something to complete the 2 builds so a quick mold should help cut down on the build time.

I'm working on a few new pieces including this one modeled by Jacob Morin.

And This one by David Dawson. Both are great modelers.

I was able to get the shoulder pieces printed out & smoothed over completed, finished & molded over the weekend.

The 3 D printer speeds up the build but they do leave PLENTY of finishing work.

OMGZ this looks awesome, makes me wanna buy that 3d printer i've been wanting for ages even more.
Cant wait to see the set complete.

It was a relieve to see these cool suits were actual props instead of the actor's head CGI'd on it like they did with the Star Wars clones. A great replica of a great prop, nice work !

You're just another dad. But an RPF dad. Which makes you rise above all those other dad's out there and shows us newer dad's how to create
a great childhood.
