Saiyan Armor Progress (Update pg 3)

I believe the sculpt dried out or something? Not sure, I was into it as well. David does incredible work.

I'm still waiting on urethane for the scouter rubber outer trim. I'm also still tweaking how they'll actually stay on.

Hey guys and gals. Finally got the armor under a few layers of silicone and I've started casting the skirt pieces!

Now, I'm out of activator for my silicone, but I have a bottle with some left over from a different company and it's blue, not pink. You guys think it would work with the base goo that I have left? Guess I could test a small batch..
 
Looking awsome! i am about to start work on a body suit pattern for you... it's just computer is to lame to handle the file at the moment:wacko
 
Yes Jesse! I was wondering about this as well. Love the armor, and can't wait to see the finished product! ^_^
 
hey i just want to say kudos to your progress im also trying to make some armor but havent realy started at all but i did my a maniquin:lol, but i hope you don't mind me taking your armor idea as a basis for mine ,, if you have any idea of helping me it would be much appreciated this is gonna be my first clay/cast mold ,,, wish me luck and again magnifesant work i truely envy your skill :)

Do you mean "kudos"? Either way, I have the same sentiments. I was somewhat apprehensive about a live action film with James "Spike" Marsters as Piccolo, but I'm willing to be proved wrong. I love Dragonball Z and your armour sculpt. Much more substance than a fabric costume piece.

I'd love one of those scouters too, always wanted one when I was a kid. Though how does it stay on your face?

Hey if you need leather gloves I know a lot of ranger costumers who sell them they can even modify for length you know.
