Custom designed Sith character

Here is a quick mock-up of what I'm working on, a custom designed Sith character.
For a long time now I have wanted to do something unique and yet belonging to the star wars universe. And I hope to be ready for Star Wars Celebration 2 :wacko. From the obvious differences between photo and illustration you can make out what is already made from what still remains to be done.
The inspiration is a mix between Wat Tambor & Darth Malgus chest armors, the Sith Stalker trophies lightsabers, medieval armor shoulders. Some details may change a lot before completion. Leg & arm armor will be added given enough time.
What do you think?

In case i don't make it in time for SWCE2 or it doesn't work, out I'll go without the face part:

Cool design, I look forward to seeing how you pull off the mask and shoulders.

Personally, I think you should find a way to cover your buttons and shoe laces. They deliberately kept buttons and shoe laces out of the movies as a design aesthetic, so I tend to think of them as being a little bit un-Star-Wars. Even a simple leather flap like they used to cover Obi-Wan and Anakin's laces in the prequels, and a strip of leather over the buttons, would take care of it.

Just my two cents. It's your design, so you can do what you want. But since you asked "what do you think," I answered.
Good luck!

Thx guys :)

Don't worry that's what I intend to do, I always felt like you that things like laces and buttons are to earthy for Star Wars, so I will hide/replace them :)

Before I can put together a making of, here are a couple good photos of the costume at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2 last week end.
(Plus a bonus with Anthony Daniels & a friend of mine with her Han Solo cosplay)
I didn't have the time to do something interesting for the boots, so I quickly hid the laces with pieces of pleather belt and scratch. Nevertheless I'm pretty happy how the whole thing turned out. Especially the chest armor, the control box ant the pipes.
I plan to upgrade some things here and there for the next time.
