Carl9149's "MAN OF STEEL" COSTUME

Hey, so I'm hoping to get a test printed off from a new file I have been working on, and if everything works well I will be sharing how it comes out for you all to see. Hoping to get a print competed within the next week or two.

OK small update for those asking me for them :) The test print has been sent off for printing and being sewn so some more updates will be happening within the next couple of weeks.

I will more than likely offer a junkyard thread, but I will see what happens when I see the finished test print for myself.
 
dude can't wait to see it sewn up and being worn!!! I would defo want to puff paint it, but I know it will take a gazzillion years lol!!! :)
 
carl, if puff painting this.... would it be dark pattern lines that would be puff painted or the blue part? and same with the yellow and red sections?

and would it be better to use a black for it or blue? ....
 
Think it depends on the look you want to be honest SDUK, if it were me I think I would use a dark blue with a tint of silver within it. Really depends on which pic you use from the screen worn costume. It looks different in different lights, unlike the ASM design. I have designed the pattern to look almost like it's separate from the main body, like a 3D effect. I will be able to tell once it's been printed and I can have a better look at it.
