Thanks for posting, Willie.

There will also be new commentaries for all of these as we heard months back that Sigourney recorded new ones at the end of 2009.

Very excited for this set. I just hope Fox dumped plenty of $$ into a new 4k transfer to make these films look like they should. Also hoping we get the "Fincher cut" of Alien3.

I can't wait to get this. I popped in the Aliens DVD from the Quadrilogy box the other day to do some research, and it looked so grainy (I remember when I first got the DVDs and played them on my CRT and was blown away -- my, how times change). I want to watch all of the films in 1080p gloriousness. :love:love:love

I agree with Riskbreaker. I hope Fox went all out with the remasters. The films deserve the proper blu-ray treatment.

Does it specify whether these will be sold individually on BluRay, or are they gonna pull a Spiderman?

I'm really only interested in getting Alien and Aliens..

This is great news. I was afraid we wouldn't see Alien on blu-ray until the release of the prequel...

It looks like a Christmas release right now. Hopefully that sticks :thumbsup

Any idea how much of this stuff wasn't on the Quadrilogy box set? I'm pretty happy with mine but if this seems worth it I'm totally down. I've been buried in that set getting reference for a poster for a friend so I'm just in the right state of mind to drop dough on more Aliens.

As bad as Star Wars. I think this will be my 5th incarnation of Alien that I've shelled out money for.
