DST Geological Tricorder

Pretty cool.
The screen does not light up as bright at the previous products. Very dim.
The sounds are as we expected from the modifying of the past trics jumpers.
My screen graphic is a little crooked.
The center light is red. The light box area has two white lights. One will blink
in unison with the computer voice. It does the mode from the show. Blinking and tone automatically scanning.
You can open the sample viles and spill it everywhere if you want.
Be careful! LOL I'll try to get a vid up later tonight.

The screen is a bit of a disappointment, but I like it.

Darn, now I have to go get one.

So what does everyone think. Is it worth buying? I'm just wondering since I need a tricorder and phaser still to go with my Spock costume for Halloween. At least I'll get to re-use the costume for a Star Trek convention or two.

I think this is perfect for costuming. It has that bright light inside for show and the computer voice makes sense if a tricorder ever talked.

If something bad happened to it, it's not like it's a Master Replicas level loss.
