Stark Mech Test Pre-Flight Test Configuration II

I have been trying to get this done in time for Hallowe'en weekend's Hal-Con.
It is a bit rushed, but is all made with hand tools which lends to the appearance of hand crafted prototype. (or so I am told :love)

Let's start with the arms:
They are fabricated out of Aircraft aluminium with teflon washers at the elbows...

First up is the basic arm structure:

Then a bit more detail:

The fuel lines... incredibly hard to keep straight when fastening them!!

And on to the boots. These are being fabricated out of 18 gauge mild steel to help take the strain of all the movement.

First up is the basic boot assembly:

Then the raw upper section:

Upper and lower connected for motion test:
Note: the ankle section rocks and moves like a dream!

Pretty much done now:

Ready to rock:

And some ancillary gear:

The ARC... this is an older version, but I am out of time, so I have no choice.

I got a military belt and a few pouches for under $10

Hand repulsor systems with SFX components to be stowed in forearm area:

More to follow, mainly on the arms with the tech integration and the overall test fit...

WOW! it was just the other day when i was looking at some of the Iron man Builds on here that i thought hell the Test flight kit would be easier for me!..

Nice job chap!

Cant wait to see it all finished!

It may very well be easier in some respects, but that is not to say that it is without challenges :p
I used to make repro medieval armour, and there were still parts that were real head-scratchers... obviously I had to take a fair share of artistic liberties due to time and cost constraints, but I think I should make at least a minor splash at the Con. :-D
Especially when flanked by the Black Widow (Wife), + Alex Ross's Captain America #456 (oldest son), and the Original Nick Fury (Youngest son)...
I just realized that we have most of the bloody Avenger Initiative !!! :-D

I'll post the finishing of the arms soon enough, followed by some live pix from the Con .

OK, the tech is secured in the arms and the Stark Industries logos are onboard.
Personal Area Network runners mounted onto the jacket/sweatshirt
First full test fit this Thursday!!!

Apologize for the crappy BlackBerry photos; but on the good side, I have since found my damned camera in time for the Con on Saturday!!! :thumbsup

Not sure if you can see the pulsing EL-Wire along my arms???
Also discovered that I needed to put in some high density foam at the shin level so I could actually walk up stairs and stuff like that :rolleyes

I'll post some much better ones from the Con... Who knows, I may even make it onto the Space Channel!!! :love

Thanks so much guys!
I wish you could wear it to see how well it flows and moves with the wearer.
In a small way, it really is an exo-skeleton, just an unpowered one. XD
