Hero Dustbuster Phaser

I finally got around to modding my static rodd.com dustbuster phaser. I've been putting it off because I've never really done anything with electronics. I decided it would be a good learning experience all around so I went ahead with it.

First I gutted the electronics out of a Playmates cobra phaser. I had to do a little re-wiring to get just the one sound effect to work. I also added a AAA battery pack instead since the one in the Playmates was way too big to fit in the handle of the dustbuster. I also removed the flashlight bulb and installed a super-bright LED. Here's the finished product (the last one is a video).
