Did anyone purchase this, and if so, can you tell me about the quality?

The descriptions I've seen say it's 14 inches including the base. Which, if the base is as tall as it is in the pictures, that would make the skull pretty small, definitely NOT 1:1 as they state.
I guess that's my real question, is it life sized?

I read that the average human skull is around 8.6" high. If that figure is correct, I guess this could be lifesize.

The female on the far right is apparently 6.5 inches.

I only got the 1:6 skull pair (male & female). I must say they are a bit on the large size.
