Costumes seem too 'techy' - unless its gonna be Asgard as a parrallel universe.

On the bright side, we should be able to craft these out of Rubbermaid Garbage Cans no problem, since it looks like the original material. ;)
 
Well you have to remember they are "gods." When was the last time you saw a "god" wearing weathered, tattered, messy clothes? Well beside Buddha who supposedly promoted shedding your materialistic things.
 
Lighting, and cinematography can go a long way in changing how this will look in the end... not to mention any post-process effects as well...

Kenneth Branagh is the director for the film so I'll give it some leeway...
