Poly Foam.. where can i get it?

I was looking for polyurethane foam ..like egg crate material but 1/4" thick sheets.. where can i get it locally from.. what kinda store?

Check fabric stores like Jo-Ann fabrics or Hancock fabrics. I think they carry poly foam.

I need some of this stuff too. I checked Jo-Ann's and all of theirs is bright green, not to mention expensive. I wouldn't think the stuff would be so expensive, its just packing material.

That place has a great selection. Is the charcoal foam the same as the poly foam except for color? The firm stuff sounds good for what I'm making, but I don't know if its TOO firm. Do you know if it's still flexible, just harder to compress, or is it actually rigid like other types of foam?

Ordered the 1/4in regular Charcoal foam 72x40.. the shipping was super high! 12.99! cost more then the sheet..which was 5.99:confused

Try Gary's Upholstery in Florida, that's where we get all of our foam for mascot costumes and such, they may have exactly what you're looking for.
