Gorgeous work there! So many details!

Also, I laughed the second I started reading this thread because back in the day I was constantly talking about how those Mentadent cartridges would make awesome engine pods, lol. Great minds, I guess... Awesome model work!

99.99999% done and ready for Wonderfest!

I'm just waiting on some Tamiya to come in so I can spritz it over some parts that are just Modelmaster and are photographing way too cool.

The engines are mostly held on by magnets, but if the model was jostled the engines would move out of alignment, so I threw up my hands and used some double-sided tape. I don't want to glue them down yet because I want to remove them for travel.

I also used that tape to attach the unused mounting point cover to the base.

TEN YEARS.

Pics with and without flash (which really brings out the blue of the Modelmaster, unfortunately...see third pic).

Most my pics tonight turned out horrible so this is just a preview. I'll take some pics in natural light in a day or two.

Very nice looking scratch build. Congrats on ‘almost’ having her finished after all this time .
She’s looking sweet as is , but just wondering if you’ve any plans to add lighting down the track ?

Lighting would look great in those engines, but no. I hate working on electronics, and this is supposed to be fun.

Took it to Wonderfest again this year: I was entering one other model and you get two for the same price, and you can resubmit models if they hadn't won anything, so why not.

Nothin' this time either. (shrug! )
