zerstorer and the escape pod

i was think'g the handrail of the boat were the contributor, but the SS model has some ends that swoop down, where all of the kits come to a dead 90 degree stop.

am i barking up the wrong tree?

It sounds like the Nichimo U Boat IXB railing. Is it like this:

don't think thats it
the railing on the pod looks like this:

they are between the yellow stripe and the tank tread

those rails may come from the heller hood (i don't have scans of the kit)

if thats true, can anybody tell me what the zerstorer donates?

i was under the impression this guy has been totally ID'd.
i'm betting someone knows this detail.
