I think we can safely assume the seats are from a WWII or post-war aircraft?

That cockpit doesn't look like it's "from" anything... it's just standard Star Wars tech, just like on the Death Star! :lol

Black consoles with big rectangles outlined in thin masking tape... big glowing round elevator buttons... metal accents here and there... :rolleyes

Yes the Death Star panel look is definitely there...along with similar flight buttons and switches...

Yep - rear seats are Martin Baker Mark 4 ejection seat. Took me three years to track one down, and I got lucky. I don't think these are in the states as they were mostly in British aircraft.
