Originally, I made a cowl out of duct tape over a grocery bag, then used a frozen pizza box and upholstery foam to give it a Batman shape, then covered in pleather. I decided that it was too bulky and hard to put on. For my current cowl I used the same method for the base, but used a cheap masquerade mask and used thin eva foam instead of upholstery foam to add the shape. In order to make it easier to put on, I made the chin piece detachable. For the eyes I used some cross-stitch mesh that I painted to be glow-in-the-dark. I have the neck piece seperate for mobility. For the cape, I just got my friend's mom to sew one out of pleather using a pattern I found online.
