Oh Yeah! This gun was epic! I loved the way it just made people explode .

Thanks for reminding me, that's another prop on my list, I just wish we knew what the colours of it were and what the handle looked like.

The fluted plastic bit looks like perspex strips stuck to a clear tube, I'm not sure what the chrome muzzle is made from.
The handle looks to be MDF, as for the rear section it looks like it is made of tubing and found parts from something.

    you think this looks corect?

    my disign cyber gun:
im thinking the handel is wood, the back part of the barrel is pvc with woold circles to hold it in place. one of the wood circles is rapped in copper thred. the main light part of the barrel is a pastic tube with frosted plastic lines across it. I dont know about the copper rings in the front. ether plastic aqarium tube painted copper or, pastic/metal shower rings. And I'l use a disposable camera flash for the actual laser effect.

    any thoughts?

    I found some clearer screencap's at http://tragicalhistorytour.com/
In the second image it looks like glass or acrylic tubes running threw the gun, seen in the first image. I cant tell if their are fins between the tubes or just the tubes alone. As for the all shape of the gun, it can be seen in the forth image.

As for the coil at the front of the gun, is it 6 single rings stacked, or one coiled around then tucked into the gun? The black parts look like electric tape & the wire behind it could be silver or copper wire rapped around the end of the tubes. That's another question. How many tubes are in their & what size of tube are they?

By the way, my gun will be using a cap gun for the flash part of the replica.

I've started on my Fission Gun from the episode "The Ark"I used an image & marked it out to scale. Each box is an inch around, with the individual markings in the box.

This is what I have so far on my Tomb Cybergun. First of all, I have no idea what I'm doing.
I'm using a cap gun for the flash. Making this one I know not to cut the sides off the cap gun for more flash. It keeps jamming.
As for the body I need to cut off the fins you see on the side of the gun & make a new mid section to replace the fins with on piece.

I found this forum as i was asked If i could make a Rose Tyler Cyber gun.
Having not done anything like this before I looked on this forum for advice along with others.
This was the final outcome made out of a 9.00 piece of Polyfoam, Too short lengths of black plastic conduit and Two short length Heating system top up loops.
was a lot of fun to make.
The photo is when a Cosplay Doctor nabbed it of Rose to play with.

    Another update.

I finished the selector looking spool on the back, & now working on the fine coil on the barrel. I used reversed ducked tape on the inner part of the barrel, stuck the straws on it then placed another piece of reversed tape to put on a fishing line for the small spool of wire. I will be painting it silver. I was thinking of using a silver wire found over at the Hobby Lobby.

I put on the fishing line on the wrong way. I was going to start at the back & wind to the front then tape it down with electric tape. I noted this problem after reviewing a printed image of the gun.

I am having trouble figuring out how to get to my cap gun for reloading. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, questions?
