BSG Razor Battlestar Columbia

I got inspired by episode 3 of the BSG Razor Flashbacks, and decided to start on a new model; the Battlestar Columbia. It basically looks like Galactica with more skin, which makes it easier for someone like me to make.
I started with the paper model of Galactica here:

I got most of the prow section done. Still sanding out some primer and bondo blemishes:

I need to get some more "For Sale" signs before I can start on the rest of the ship; this was made mostly with scraps.

Got the mid-upper hull cut and assembled. There were gaps between the pieces on the prow section that I didn't like, so I tried something different. I taped together the plastic pieces, then squirted some expanding foam inside. Once it got solid enough, I glued the edges.
Here we go:

Just need to go through the sand, fill, prime cycle on it.

Added the ribbing to the mid-upper hull. Got started on the mid hull and a new prow section. The first prow was very warped, and the armor wasn't as accurate as it could be.

I don't think the ribbing is supposed to be very visible on Columbia. There's some toward the engine pod, but the midsection and bow should be pretty well flat.

Galactica and Columbia are supposed to be the same class. In the miniseries Galactica was being stripped down to be decomissioned, hence the lack of armor leaving exposed ribbing. Columbia in the webisode is the way Galactica would have looked with full armor plating.

Very nice work so far! Great idea.

I didn't get much more work in on this until today. So far, I have about 2/3 the basic ship assembled. Still need to add the rest of the lower hull, make the other flight pod, the pylons, and the engines.
JediG60racer, I definitely agree that she is more heavily armored than Galactica, but it looks to me like there's still a good bit of visible ribbing.

Finally saw Razor - those are great! Are you planning to drop them into some silicone when you are finished? :love
What is the scale? Looks like it may be around 24" total?
Hard to tell...
