Bandai 1/72 scale A-Wing Fighter FINISHED Photoshoot pending

This little one sure is an interesting ship. Looking at the official images I see a lot of interesting details regarding its weathering. I love ILM and their work but boy....the work done on the original model sure was one thinking of the minimal screen time it would have! LOL! Some washes were added, apparently over a matte clear coat and the results were not to pretty in certain areas.

Tomorrow is decal time followed by matte coat and then the fun part....weathering and detailing.

Interesting choice to paint the insides of the engines yellow.

Now that you mentioned it, I painted those but are not yet set in stone. I was following the paint guide from the Bandai instructions photos. I may paint them back to the white color. Thanks for looking!

Did decals and went back to the white on the engines rings. Waiting until tomorrow to spray the matte coat.

For WIP pics I use my cell phone a Samsung Note 8. Its a great little camera. Thanks!

That's a nice build you have there!-
Are you planing on dirtying it up any or give it some battle history?

(I have a Note 8 as well and it does better than some of my non-phone digital cameras...)

Yeah, now I understand why some electronics stores here seems to have dropped digital cameras altogether. Maybe need to get a new phone myself...

I plan to give it its own weathering and damage! I have limited time during the week but will get to it these couple of days. Gotta love new cell camera technology.
