Anovos TIE to AT-AT helmet conversion - Someone talk me out of it

I was going to use this Lord Zach TIE helmet as a base for an AT-AT build, but I've sat on it for about three years now. While I was enduring the super-long wait for the Anovos Vader's Wingman TIE helmet, I got impatient and in the meantime I bought a standard Anovos TIE off of eBay. Now I have two Anovos TIE helmets and was kicking around the idea of converting the standard TIE to an AT-AT helmet. Has anyone attempted this yet and is it worth it to try to use is as an AT-AT base? The LZ helmet is just not quite there as far as having all the quirks and gaps that the originals had.

Why not....production did.
Not the Anovos part just the TIE Pilot into AT-AT Driver part.
