DL-44 Blasters and custom stands

Nothing new here, but I still wanted to share. Both the ANH and ESB blasters are based on Denix C-96's. All greeblies and accessories were machined from scratch by me from aluminum. The motor / coil and the other two greeblies on the ESB blasters I made molds for and injection molded them. Unfortunately have a bad habit if not taking in process photos, but I do have a few of this project. The stands are aluminum with the logo of each movie engraved in them, and just need to be painted. The clamp on the stands matches the contour of the handle and uses a bolt through the hole to keep in in place, and the slot allows it to 'squeeze' to clamp it tight. The ANH blaster is gun blued, and aluminum parts were painted black. The ESB blaster is painted black since I couldn't gun blue the plastic parts! I did all the weathering myself, and still have to weather the ESB blaster. Hope everyone likes them, lots of pictures!

Wow, really nice work! I love seeing folks machining their own stuff. And those stands, what a brilliant idea! I need some. Love these blasters!
 
WOW!!! Not only was the blaster work fantastic but that stand is AWESOME! I was about to be like "hey check out my stand run that I'm doing right now" but then I was like...never mind hahaha! Fantastic work.
 
Hey Ecosta ! Nice work on both the blasters and stands!

Have you considered coloring in engraving on the stands? It might look kind of neat with STAR WARS in yellow, ESB in red, and ROTJ in green.

Color me SUPER impressed by your mad machining skills! ;)
