The Kid Who Would Be King is another one of my anticipated movies of 2019. It was originally scheduled for Sept 2018 then got pushed to next year.

Written and Directed by Joe Cornish (Attack the Block).

Release Date: January 25, 2019.

Synopsis: Alex finds his everyday problems dwarfed by his discovery of the mythical sword Excalibur. Now, with the most powerful sword in history in the hands of the most powerless schoolboy in Britain, Alex and his friends must thwart a medieval villain named Morgana, who is hell-bent on destroying the world.

Thanks for sharing this! Not gonna day I’m a long time fan of JC.. however I did watch the Adam & Joe show as a kid!
Sounds like a sweet story - looking forward to it!

it looks like a lot of fun. The scene when they are recruiting/ training the kids from school reminds me of army of darkness

I have been seeing theatrical trailers for this film for a while- looks cute but I will wait for RedBox

Saw the trailer before aquaman. Looks pretty dumb to me, total kids movie, so it will probably do well.

Same here, I'll probably Redbox it or just wait for it to hit Netflix, but I do want to see it, just not at the theater.
