Just read about this as well. Absolutely stunned by the news. Star Wars -- and definitely Empire Strikes Back -- would not be the movies they are without Gary Kurtz.

Star Wars wouldnt be as revered today if it wasnt for Gary Kurtz. Damn. Such a bummer, and what a loss. Sad news indeed. I would say he is more important to the saga than Lucas...

R.I.P. Mr Kurtz. Thank you for having Faith in a project that gave us all Hope and Wonder that has stayed with us all through many many years.

And i'm really looking forward to a visit from your Force Ghost.
