Request 3D models

Is there a thread already for people to request 3d models.
I am not asking because I want a model made, I am asking because I want to make the 3d models.

I have been playing around with cad software since high school. I am now a decent modeler but I want more practice and exposure; but I can never think of what to model.

For example in the thread below a star trek model was requested and I had quite some fun making it.

So I guess what I am saying any one have a request?

I do but it is going to be awfully small, LOL. I want to doa diorama for my 32nd scale Moebius Raptor from the 2004 BSG series. What I need it some 32nd scale Beretta CX4s used by the Colonial Marines, at least six if them. I am including a few images so you'll know what I am talking about.

I'm not the only one to think if it either'

Like I said, pretty small.

I would like to second the request for a good Beretta Cx4 model. I've been searching for a while but everything I've found is low poly. I'd be looking to build it full size though, 3D printing the stock and frame and then adding real parts for the rails and attachments. Of course a good model can always be scaled down as well.

As long as you're asking: I'd really like to see a 1/50 scale VTOL from the computer game Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I know the game basically has a model imbedded in it, which could be extracted, but I hear it's full of gaps, clipping and obviously has no interior.

So a nice high res model, with added details, such as can be seen in the cutscenes, would be just awesome... :cool

if you are up for the task , may i ask for a ship from starfox zero , the wolfen II that starwolf team flies in , i´m trying to get some referecen pictures or a model ripped from the game , but i have zero luck for the plane or the transformed mode...

That most certainly is the correct one with just a few differences. First is the custom muzzle flash made for the show.

The second is the addition of some Picatinny rails across the top between the sight posts and three more at the end of the casing, one each side and one underside.

There is also the telescopic sight and flashlight to consider.

Hope this is some help.

Hey so just an update. I was looking for a few more images of the CX4 to do the model and came across this website
http://www.beretta.com/en/cx4-storm/

It has a low of pictures I can use would I be correct in saying this is the same gun and I can use those images?

You have NO CLUE how happy you made me with those words of encouragement. THANK YOU

DB,

I'm only telling the truth my friend, your work is spot on from everything I can see. This is so far above what I know how to do and really appreciate you taking this on and seeing your work only makes it more so. You are doing a great job, don't doubt it !!

I have done as much as I can for today and wont be able to model for several days.
I was not able to do the scope and flashlight.

The scaled model ones have 32th in the name there are 3 files. 2 halfs and a full model.

All other files can be 3d printed and assembled to make a life sized version.
