True Romance - Clarence Worley / christian slater costume

Congratulations! Looks amazing!! And excellent work! I’ve seen the same thing in collecting Fight Club wardrobe, too - vintage fabrics being used by multiple designers. I actually just found one by a third company! It’s a little pricey, and the pattern placement is off, but for anyone interested, it’s searchable on Etsy using “50s men’s orange Hawaiian shirt”. This one was made by “Curacao”. Thanks for all of your work, tee!

Hah yeh, the fight club wardrobe is also on my hit list, though far more popular cult fashion following so lot's of replicas dotted about.

Also this one on etsy

Also same design, however has the addition of the words 'treasure island' included in the design. Fraction of the cost though

Pattern also off

any type of update :cry

The jacket has been a while coming from overseas but should arrive friday. Also found a revolver cap gun that matches clarence's on ebay but it's see through plastic. The model is a smith and wesson 66 and the later part of the film he replaces it with james gandolfini's smith and wesson 625. The ebay one looks to be much like a smith and wesson 66 or maybe a smith and wesson 25 rather than a 625. Think i could custom spray it chrome. Either way a near match. Would like to snag some similar boots too to finish the look

Thanks man. Kept ballsing up the image uploads. My phone keeps upping stuff sideways. The condition of the jacket was mint. Incredible considering it's age
Do you still have the shirt and would you be willing to sell it? My wife and I have been looking for months! She has Alabama nearly done and I desperately need the shirt.

Update:
So i couldn't help but to message the guy selling the jacket for more info and pictures. He sent one and explained that it has no inside tag/label meaning it was perhaps custom made for the movie. My conclusion, however, is that the jacket is actually a reversible jacket. Many jackets like this were designed this way. Classic ricky/gabardine jackets would commonly be the only jacket some men would own in the 50s so reversible was very common. Also he said 'one of the pockets has fake blood stains in but i can't remember which but you'll know when you see the film'.... how fricking cool. But this also made me think the guy is selling it by proxy, perhaps held at the studio or he lists stuff for the studio. To not remember which hand went in the pocket and to own the jacket seemed off. Anyways heres the second image he sent:

In even better news i managed to track down a vintage copy of the very same hawaiian shirt worn by slater. Should arrive today so i'll post images and info. But here's a pic saved from the listing on etsy

So I know this was posted 2 years ago but I was hoping that someone would read this and reply back to me. I have been looking for this shirt forever and I was wondering if you could tell me who made this shirt so I can do some further research into finding this.
