Custom imperial or rebel blaster

I always tend to strip parts, pick up scopes and stuff at thrift and antique stores. My trip today found a daisy Powerline with Copper BBs still rattling around inside.

After gettig home, I took the scope rings off a Daisy scope (which I now don’t need) and attached a very early Weaver hunting scope to the rail built into the gun!

next I took the leftovers from sculpting a DL-44 blaster grill and cut them to fit the fore grip that I removed. (It looked a little tacky/70s) I also removed the little flick tab that ****** the gun. It was in an opening underneath and I covered it with the tomtit parts

i filled the recessed Powerline logo with a piece from a canon flash plug, and threw some adamata resin V8 greebles on the side. I still have to grind off the letters.

Here’s a plastic piece from a random camera that’s acting as a washer for the ugly foregrip screw. The screw holds the trigger group in so it has to stay.

also the canon part. I’m thinking leave the grips brown?

Soo, after a few more greeblies and some putty and professional rustoleum, here we are! Graflex button as a FH, Han Solo belt V8 greeblie cut in half and some stereo buttons, other V8 parts... I like this so far
